WHAT IS IT?  A treatment that helps you to overcome phobias by teaching you to use your fingers to gently tap meridian points (which correspond to lines of energy in your body) while visualising the thing that you're afraid of. This works on a subconscious level to induce calm. DOES IT WORK? 'I have a deep fear of flying,' says our tester. 'Jill, the therapist, showed me how to tap certain points on my body if I felt anxious, but I didn't think it would make a difference. I was so wrong! Normally, I take a tranquilliser when I fly, but this time I was able to control my panic and felt quite calm getting into the plane and during take-off.'
