PTSD, Abuse and Bereavement

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder responds exceptionally well to Jill’s methods. People who suffer from PTSD as a consequence of witnessing horrific scenes, being involved in terrifying events, suffering physical abuse, sexual abuse, rape and mental abuse can be helped.  The treatment is swift, gentle and does not involve lengthy and distressing recall of actual events.  It is only necessary to acknowledge the emotions attached to a memory, and allow Jill to take those emotions away.

A bereavement can be traumatic and the memory of a missing loved one can sometimes hurt for years.  With the memory can come guillt about promises not fulfilled, rage at having that person taken away and aching sadness they are not around to share in a new joy such as childbirth.  Once the guilt, rage and aching sadness are removed, the once traumatised person is able to remember their loved one, but the memories tend to be of the joy that person brought into their life.  They are remembered with a smile, not a tear.

The simple and effective treatment Jill uses quickly brings positivity and calmness, leaving the person free to move on and start a new life.

Jill trained as an Advocate with SAVI (Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program) in New York and with Victim Support in UK.

"
My 70 year old husband was rushed to hospital whilst on holiday abroad and diagnosed with Leukaemia.   He was in hospital for 6 weeks and then flown back to hospital in UK.  Even though he was in remission, his Specialist was concerned because he seemed to have lost the will to live and totally lost confidence in himself.
After just one hour with you he was like a person rejuvenated!    I couldn’t believe the change in him- it was like a miracle!  Since then he has gone from strength to strength."

"I was in charge of the station when there was a commotion and three men were knifed.  To my horror I later saw on the CCTV that  the man who had done the knifing, stood behind me for a moment, whilst I was performing first aid on one of the stab victims.
I kept reliving everything and just couldn't sleep. I saw Jill just once and somehow she managed to take the terror out of my memory.  I can still remember it but its almost as if I'm just remembering a movie now. "

“I came to see Jill because of the stress of work and she pointed out that the stress had got worse since my Dad had died.   Instead of dealing with work we ended up dealing with how empty I felt since my Dad had gone.   …….I had no idea it could have affected me so much but now that I have dealt with his loss everything else seems to fall into place, and work is no longer a problem!"

How will Jill help me?

Jill firmly believes in a holistic approach, and will discuss client needs on an individual basis to decide upon the most appropriate treatment to pursue. Sometimes a combination of approaches is the most effective - Thought Field Therapy overcomes fears, NLP creates excellence, hypnotherapy provides mental, physical and emotional relaxation, and Reiki promotes a sense of peace and well-being.

Many articles have been published about Jill's treatments.
