Sexuality

Adolescence is a testing time for most people.  The hormones start raging and thoughts of sex can be constantly at the forefront of the mind.   However, when thoughts of sex are directed towards people of the same sex, then additional concerns can be encountered by some teenagers.

“What will my parents and family say, will I be thrown out, will my friends reject me, who will love me?”  Overcoming these concerns can be particularly difficult if there is a feeling of shame.  If this period is traumatic and no professional help is received, it may take years to overcome and is sometimes never dealt with.

Jill has the ability to rid the troubled person of the trauma of the past, the present day stress and any future fears.  When these negative emotions are removed, they are replaced with feelings of self worth and self confidence.

It's not only the gay child who is likely to need help.  Parents can also suffer.   Even though they totally accept their child's sexualtity they may not know how to help them if they are troubled and struggle to find the right advice to give them.   This can be very distressing.   However there are times when coming to terms with having a gay child is a problem for one or more of the parents, particularly if there is pressure from friends and family, who just do not understand.
